The Carls Group Inc: Our focus is on protecting the home buyer’s interests.
We take a positive approach to all our home inspections. We seek out the problematic issues so that the purchaser can make positive decisions as to their resolutions. We encourage the purchaser to participate in the inspection process, and instruct the future home owner in the use and maintenance of all the functioning systems in the home, bringing attention to any vital safety concerns, environmental damage mechanical systems, and pointing out ways to save energy.
: At the conclusion of the inspection, the customer is presented with a written report of the issues found during the inspection. Digital photographs are available upon request.
: Radon and/or Lead testing can be performed upon request for an additional cost.
: The Carls Group will provide a Carbon Monoxide test at no additional cost.
Phillip Carls
Phillip Carls – has been an inspector for over 50 years in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Phil is also a licensed Maryland Home Improvement Contractor and also holds a Builder’s License. Having worked in the inspection of new homes, and re-sale homes, Phil is familiar with all the local building codes in Montgomery County, Prince Georges County, Northern VA, and Washington DC. Phil has always focused on the customer’s concerns and needs. Phil leaves no stones unturned and his positive outlook and attitude is infectious. Phil’s favorite quote is “Never say never”.
Conn Xavier O’Neill
Conn – A college graduate (B.S. in Business) that has been working as a remodeling contractor for 30 years. Conn joined the Carls Group 2 years ago as a licensed MD home inspector. Having worked in the remodeling business, Conn has had first hand knowledge of all types of construction methods. “Going behind someone else’s work teaches you how not to make mistakes.”
